inspired by bl. carlo's beatification
I first came up with the idea of Saint Sprites after Blessed Carlo Acutis' Beatification in October of 2020. I was deeply inspired by his youth, his love for computers and games, and his deep devotion to the Eucharist.
I thought that if Blessed Carlo were alive today, he'd be developing some of the most beautiful and engaging video games today. And thus a question popped into my head: "What if someone made RPG games about the saints?"
I pulled out my iPad and started doodling some (very bad) pixel art saints and started producing chip tune arrangements of my favorite Catholic hymns to go with the animations.
Fast forward three years later, you can now wear them as a hoodie, put them on your computers, game consoles, or water bottles!
